Welcome to VT Recruitment
We are a company founded by students of the Hochschule Darmstadt in the lecture Media Management. Our goal is to recruit project managers who want to gain experience in working in virtual worlds. We are a hundred percent subsidiary company of the GeProS - German Project Solutions GmbH based in Dieburg, Germany.
We have been given the responsibility to recruit Project Managers for a Project about virtual project work performed in Second Life.
This Website will be your portal to gather necessary information about the project itself and the process of it. You can register yourself for the project here.
The project is about virtual project work inside Second Life. Virtual Teams offer the possibilities to poole knowledge and capabilities from people, who are not physically present at the same place.
Inside Second Life the team members will use the "virtual team simulator" for meetings, besides this place there will be other ways of communications between the members such as programs with costs GoToMeeting, Cisco WebEx Meeting Center, Microsoft Office Live Meeting and free ones like Skype etc.

THE PROJECT
Working in virtual worlds means to overcome a multitude of physical limits and problems. You will get to know the advantages of working in virtual teams and help to improve virtual works for your concerns. VT Recruitment has started as a project of the Hochschule Darmstadt with the goal to explore new communication technologies. You can find the VT Recruitments virtual office in Second Life and work on.
CCR PROGRAM
Further education means to obtain the quality of PMI certifications. When joining the research test by Ralf Friedrich, you will enlarge your knowledge concerning (virtual) teamwork, learn about new communication possibilities and improve your soft skills. Participants may eventually claim 10 PDU's in category 4 and up to 15 PDU's in category 2SDL, thus maximum up to 25!
SECOND LIFE
The online platform Second life was founded in 2003 and has become the world leader in virtual online worlds. Second Life has a market share of 90%. It is stable, profit making and continually growing. Hundreds of companies and educational institutions use Second Life. Meanwhile about 18 million users from over 150 countries have signed up in Second Life and about 40.000-60.000 users are online at same time.
